PvP System
An adventure without battles is not an adventure.
So it is to be expected that the Ether Saga will
offer formidable battles to its adventurers!
Level Limit
In Ether Saga Online you cannot PvP (Player vs Player) until you reach level 45. You can take part in arranged duels by challenging other players but you cannot get PK'ed (Killed by another player)
Once you hit level 45, you can actively fight against other players if you wish. Once you reach level 45, if you do not want to get attacked by other players you can join a PVE realm.
Remember that your character dying will take away 5% exp and 5% spirit, so keep that in mind!
Duel System
To duel someone in a safe area, right click their user interface and click on Duel. The duel invitaiton will hast 30 seconds before it is automatically rejected.
When accepted, the match begins in 3 seconds. It is recommended to buff up before inviting someone to duel before then.
The duel has a 5 minute time limit. Pets can be summoned and used in combat if necessary. If the time limit is reached or both players are defeated, then a Draw is declared.
During the match, the player's health must be reduced to 1 in order to be declared a winner. It will not reduce to zero regardless of skills used. Alternatively, pets who have been summoned for combat can also be killed by the player, too.

- Note You can also directly attack a player by holding CTRL(control) key.
- - Colors of Name
The colors of a player's name show the player's PvP status.
- * White Named:
- * Red/Pink Named:
- * Orange Named:
Players without PvP penalty such as Infamy. Killing white-named players will increase your Infamy level.
You become these colors after killing a white-named player, you obtain an amount of infamy according to the players level.
Killing a Red/Pink named player will not increase your Infamy level.
If you PK enough, your name will go from Pink -> Red -> Very Dark Red.
After attacking a white named player, your name will become orange. This color will fade away eventually if you stop hitting them or fly away. If you continue to hit someone your name will not change back to white.
If an orange named player is killed by a white named player, the white named player will NOT gain Infamy.
Red name players will gain Infamy regardless of who is killed.
CAUTION 1: The lower your victim's level is, the more Infamy you will receive.
CAUTION 2: Ordering your pet to attack another player will give you a orange name. If that player is killed you will obtain a red name.
