Rules of Conduct

• ※ Ether Saga Online's administrative team is entirely made up of volunteers and without any personal and/or professional ties with Perfect World's original developer - and its employees, therefore, this service is a private server of the same game.
• ※ It is the responsibility of its members to manage and guarantee the operation of the server in its entirety, which refers to technical issues, financial support, community support and other aspects, except in cases where the team's intervention proves to be unnecessary or impossible to perform.
• ※ By accepting Ether Saga Online's terms of use and creating his online avatar, the user reserves the rights to manage his account to the administration, by changing the data informed in the act of registration that are in disagreement with the rules of the server, or temporarily or permanently suspending your registration in cases where an infringement of the rules is found in acts while within the game itself; however, the user DOES NOT reserve to the administration the rights to use, for any purpose, the e-mail, name, password and IP address informed in the act of registration.
• ※ It is the right of the suspended player to appeal only ONCE for the administration to review the block, which will decide whether the penalty was really valid or if it was a mistake; it is also the suspended player's right to ask for a copy of the article that condemns him in these terms of use, together with proof of the offense he committed for the suspension to be imputed.
• ※ Although the game's proposal is to run 24 hours a day, the Ether Saga Online team may shut down the servers in order to carry out maintenance considered necessary for the proper functioning of the equipment and programs. These maintenances may or may not be scheduled in advance, varying according to the needs that the technical adjustments require.

• ※ Ether Saga Online, as it is a 100% free service throughout its entirety, does not have any other method of collection and financial survival other than through VOLUNTARY donations made by our users, which are intended to cover the required costs for server maintenance. These donors will receive a certain amount of E-Bucks (in-game currency) equivalent to the amount donated, as a way of thanking them for their support.
• ※ The reimbursement of a donated amount will only be made upon proof, by the COMPLAINT, that the remuneration contract in virtual currencies was not fulfilled by the SERVER. Except for this occasion, there are no other possibilities where the return of the amount donated is possible. Attempted false donation or cancellation after delivery of the thank you will result in account blocking.
• ※ The donor user will not receive different treatment from the administrators regarding online support, being subject to the same rules and punishments as non-donor users.

• ※ It is up to the player to ensure the security of his own account, preferably following the STAFF guidelines, which are: change the password every 14 days; not to use public or unknown computers or internet networks to enter the game; keep your computer's security software up-to-date; maintain the secrecy of your access data, never sharing the account with third parties, no matter how much they have an established relationship of trust.
• ※ The administration will not intervene in problems caused by the player's carelessness regarding the security of his account. Under no circumstances will any lost items or stolen E-Bucks be refunded.
• ※ Ether Saga Online will not be responsible for any damage to items and/or regressions in character characteristics when caused by slowness or loss of internet connection by the user. It is up to him to judge the situation and determine whether or not it is possible to carry out negotiations and etc.
• ※ Once confirmed, it is impossible to reverse trades, NPC sales, auction house purchases and sales, Store purchases, and character deletion. It is the player's responsibility to correctly handle their items to avoid unwanted situations.
• ※ It is understood that, when registering on the site, the user is already aware of the terms of use that are in force on the server. Claiming ignorance of the rules will not be accepted as a justification for account or character unlocking or reimbursement of any type of damage that the user may acquire.

1. IN SOCIAL AND VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS

• ※ The online environment has several communication systems, which makes it possible to send and receive written messages from other players. By allowing the display of any type of content, the chat and other official Ether Saga Online networks have their own rules and prohibitions established to promote mutual respect and conscious use of the tools.
• 1.1 It is strictly forbidden to use the general, local or private chat for the dissemination of hate speech, xenophobia, racism, pornographic content and other reprehensible attitudes and intolerance foreseen and subject to punishment. The administration of Ether Saga Online understands that the free expression of the players must be maintained, but if the target of injury, slander and defamation feels injured by terms that were addressed to him, punishments for the offender may be carried out.

   The penalty provided for breaching this term ranges from 5 minutes of chat blocking to permanent suspension of the account(s).

• 1.2 The disclosure of other private ESO servers within Ether Saga Online or on social networks belonging to it is intolerable when done without the authorization of the administrative team.

   The penalty foreseen for breaking this term is the permanent suspension by IP of the player.

• 1.3 The use of special characters (ASCII, HTML, ...) that make reading considerably difficult or impossible in an online environment is prohibited.

   The penalty provided for breaking this term ranges from 5 minutes of blocking the chat to suspension for 7 days of the character in question or their account.

• 1.4 Establishes restrictions on the trade of: 1) ACCOUNTS, by donation or any other internal or external resources to the game; you must be aware that the account is a non-transferable asset and that its first owner can always resume access when requested, causing material damage to other users of the same that are not subject to support by the Ether Saga Online team. 2) ITEMS/E-Bucks, for real money or external trades.

   The penalty provided for breaching this term is suspension of the account(s) involved or perpetual retention of items/E-Bucks by management.

• 1.5 Ether Saga Online's chat has its own anti-flood system, but it is still forbidden to send the same message in the chat multiple times, as they will be considered SPAM when it is possible to view them more than 4 times on the screen.

   The penalty provided for breaking this term ranges from 30 minutes of blocking the chat to suspension for 7 days of the character in question or their account.

• 1.6 It is expressly forbidden to impersonate a Ether Saga Online administrator, as well as the use of names that could be understood as such (GMxxx, ADMxxx, ...).

   The penalty foreseen for breaking this term is the permanent suspension by IP of the player.

• 1.7 Disseminating unfounded information, rumors and untruths about the server and/or its administrators with the intention of tarnishing the image of those involved or disrupting the proper functioning of the services offered in the game is permanently prohibited.

   The penalty for breaching this term ranges from 1 hour of chat blocking to permanent suspension of the player's account(s).

• 1.8 It is characterized as a crime the act of falsifying, adulterating or forging evidence (screenshots, audios, among others) in order to use them to deceive those responsible for the game and force/cause unfair and unnecessary punishments against someone.

   The penalty for breaching this term ranges from a 3-day block to permanent suspension of the player's account(s).

• 1.9 It is prohibited to subject third parties to circumstances that prevent them from fully enjoying the events and activities of the game. This rule does not apply in occasions where PvP is inherent, expected and even essential.

   The penalty for breaching this term ranges from a 1-day block to a permanent suspension of the player's account(s).

2. ON TECHNICAL ISSUES

• 2.1 It is prohibited to use hacking, cheating or any other resources with the potential for cheating that bring advantages to you or that may harm another player.

   The penalty foreseen for the breach of this term varies between the permanent suspension of the account(s) and permanent suspension by IP of the player.

• 2.2 It is forbidden to exploit or take advantage of any bugs or failures in the system to gain advantages in Ether Saga Online, and it is up to the player to alert the administrative team as to the existence of the problem.

   The penalty provided for breaching this term varies between suspension for up to 31 days and permanent suspension of the account(s).

• 2.3 Our server is limited to 3 accounts logged per ip, any attempt to circumvent this mechanism using vpn, or another computer is expressly prohibited. (only in cases 2 or more people playing on the same network this will be disregarded.)

   The penalty will be based on: 1st, will be an alert, 2nd, will be a week block, 3rd, permanent account ban.

3. OMISSIONS AND RULE UPDATE

• ※ Omitted cases (not mentioned on this page) will be analyzed by the administration, which will decide what actions will be taken (and may apply punishments if necessary) in relation to them. We register here a warning to users to use common sense when in doubt as to what is prohibited or permitted within the server.
• ※ The rules and terms of use listed here are subject to change without prior notice from the administration, and the user is responsible for periodically visiting this page in order to keep informed of changes.
